Birthday Red

Oftentimes I am asked why do you always wear, post or promote the RED. Great question! Here is the answer. Red, candy apple red to be exact was my mother’s favorite color. My cousin’s favorite color is red as well. I never had a favorite color until now. Can you guess what it is? You are correct it is red. Red stands out. It is a bold and unique color. The red blood that runs through our body keeps us alive, well and full of oxygen. When blood is shed, it is a big deal. IT MATTERS! In honor of my mother’s birthday, I encourage you look into yourself and see what is important and what matters. What is the RED in your life? What is that significant thing that gives life and without it, something is wrong? No matter how far I go in life, I will always remember those RED people, those RED things and that RED blood that was shed from my mother, my ancestors and the giants whom shoulders we stand on. They paved the way and made extreme sacrifices. Sacrifice early because someone will thank you later for your RED commitment to greatness. #Do Better
